"Err... I--I-- h-heard it from Long Yue! Yes, h--he told me about it b-be--before."

Mu Lingxi said while stuttering. She had a sudden slip of a tongue at that split moment and so she had no choice but to made up an on the spot lie.

Pus.h.i.+ng the blame under Long Yue's name.

"Me??? I told you about it????"

Long Yue was obviously stunned when he heard Su Yan s.h.i.+fting the blame to him. To be honest, he doesn't have any recollection of talking to Su Yan anything about it.

"Yes, of course. Whom should I learn about it if not from you???"

"You really told Su Yan about it????"

Long Yue knows that even though they were brothers, and they were really close on top of that. It was still not his place to talk about Long Fuzi's affairs to others. Especially things as sensitive as that.

That is why he was really feeling deeply apologetic towards the other party for 'doing' it.

Well, Long Fuzi knows that Long Yue did not mean to do it at all. So he no longer pushed the matter out of proportion. After all, it is not as if he was planning to hide it in the first place.

Long Fuzi hides the fact that the reason why his marriage with the young miss of Mu Clan was pushed through is not exactly because they decided to finish their studies first.

But rather, his 'supposed to be bride', Mu Lingxi, run away from him as soon as their arranged marriage was announced.

Yun Xue said in surprise. He honestly never imaged that the usually quiet man among them is the first one to actually have a fiancee.

When Long Fuzi heard what Yun Xue said, he hurriedly denies the matter altogether. He had already heard a lot of rumors about that and he always gave that same answer.

It was actually starting to get the nerves out of him. He was really wondering who has the gut to spread such false rumors about him and Lady Yanxiao.

Chan Gu teased his friend upon hearing his answer. As a result, Long Fuzi's face blushed like a teenager.

When Mu Lingxi saw how silly Long Fuzi is blus.h.i.+ng like a teenage girl upon hearing a casual tease from his friend, her foolish heart can help but start fluttering as well.

Mu Lingxi was just silently observing at the side as her friends continue to chat with one another.

As such all her comments were just happening inside her mind and only Ja.n.u.s can hear her.

The group continued to chat on their way. To avoid getting too much attention, they already instructed their spiritual beast to put them down somewhere outside the city's entrance.

Then from there, they made their way towards the royal palace on foot. As such, they were having a casual chat while enjoying the walk.

Since they had come a long way from Magus Academia back to their homeland which is the Long Kingdom, the two young princes wish to pay their family a visit.
